WED5800SW0, this unit would not start so I did a quick check of the power at the terminal block and found everything OK. I next opened the door and noticed the drum light was not working either. I actuated the switch lever, and noticed it didn't snap like it should so I knew I found the problem, but did a continuity check with my meter just to be sure. Replaced the door switch with a new one, and the dryer now operates fine. The photo is of the disassembled switch so you can see the damaged contacts.
