I just bought a LG LDF6810ST dishwasher at Home Depot. I got it at 1/2 price because it had some cosmetic damage (I hope that's all). I was looking for a service manual just in case. Would you have one or know where I could get one. LG seems very protective of their products and would not sell it to me. Thanks!

WOW! This is awesome! I have been reading how guarded LG is with their products and selling parts and I never expected to get this, free no less (or do I owe you something?).
I found that there is more than cosmetic damage and that the door switch broke. Used some 5 min epoxy and will test tonight. Hopefully that's all. And Partstore.com seems to have what I need.

You don't owe me a thing, glad to help.
LG is kind of a pain with there parts right now. I have been told that may start to change.

Glad to hear you found the problem with the dishwasher.
Would that not be covered under warranty?

I called CS and asked if it would be but since I bought it as a floor display model, and it was damaged, no. For the price I paid, spending another $20 will be worth it if everything else works.

I just joined this forum and I think its great. I always try to fix my own appliances before I have to call someone. Thanks for providing all the great info. I was looking for the LG dishwasher manual. It doesn't seem to be listed with all the other manuals. Has it been removed?

Hi Maypo52,

Thanks for joining us. The LG dishwasher manual has been moved, but not removed from the site.

The LG manuals, Frigidaire manual along with training manuals and other special training videos have been moved to a different area of the forums in the download section.

This are of the forums is only available to Charter Members and the technicians that help us out.

The Maytag and Whirlpool manuals will alway's stay available for regular members to download.

We just started to make this change and have a few more details to work out.

I will be sending you a PM shorlty.

Sorry I never gave an update. The 5 min epoxy has been working all this time and I forgot about it. But I'll be ordering the part soon. As long ast Partstore.com sends the correct part it should be a quick repair.
