If your LG Dishwasher is making grinding noise when washing, you can fix the problem by cleaning the chopper blade. It's quite easy and costless.

Example of noise :

Solution :

1. Follow this guide but stops at the chopper blade step (3mn 21s.)

In my case, a little piece of glass from a broken glassware was stuck in the grid (see pictures after cleaning). The noise was loud and horrible. Now, everything works perfectly and silently.

 WARNING

- DO NOT overtightened the screws on case and filter assembly because you can very easily snap the plastic tabs (réf. https://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/threads/58066-LG-Dishwasher-LDS4821ST-floater-reservoir-overflowing).

- When you remove the impeller, please note that you must unscrew counterclockwise. Do not force by trying to unscrew clockwise.
