Dacor Built In Oven
« on: April 04, 2008, 05:00:21 PM »

Dacor had a new built-in oven they call the Renaissance that is soon to be released. The oven was very nicely done and with the exception of a few items, can entirely be serviced from the front. The most notable addition to this design was Dacor is using a recessed ribbon element in place of a more traditional cal rod element. This is essentially a rectangular surface element mounted under a ceramic glass (just like a glass cook top) cover and recessed into the bottom of the liner. A very nice design and easy to service. The primary benefit to the consumer is a very rapid preheat and better temperature control. And like all other Dacor ovens, this one has true convection cooking along with every other cooking option available.
