Maytag Range no Oven Operation
« on: March 29, 2008, 05:33:22 PM »

Model # MER5875QAS, the range was working fine until (according to the customer ) the weather in the area caused a power outage that began with a series of voltage spikes, before it finally went dead. The surface burner units were working fine, but the oven control would only display the last time indicated prior to the failure and allowed no key inputs. The ribbon connection from the overlay was seated properly and all other connections checked good.  So this range needed a new clock and overlayboard to make it function again.
