kenmore gas dryer start issue

hi, I have this Kenmore dryer, model 76902690, series 90,, the problem is that dryer only works if I keep hold the start button, but as soon as i release the button,  the motor stops,, any help will be appreciate,

The motor has a centrifugal switch that is supposed to close once the motor is up to speed. This completes a circuit that allows the motor to keep running after you release the button. The contacts can be bad, or the sliding collar on the motor shaft may be sticking, or one of the springs on the weights has come off. A new motor will fix all of the problems.

Bailey, thank you for your replay, I just check the sw button and its ok, will check the motor,,
