I would love it because I have been becoming more DIY and handy this year.  It would be a great addition to my modest tool collection. :)

I'd love to get a new Multimeter—mine is an old, cheap one from Radio Shack that's a little unreliable.  :embarassed:

Crossing my fingers!

My father in-law was an electrican and he had always helped me out until he passed away suddently last year.

I am trying to learn from some of his old books but he didn't have any equipment as the company he worked for provided everything.

I could really use a meter like this.

I actually need one of these because one of the recessed halogen lights in my apt stopped working.

At first it was flickering, at random times (along with the other lights) and then went out totally.

The only reasons I can think of that may have caused the flickering (which hasn't happened since) are

1) Maybe there is something wrong with the dimmer (this room is on a 3 way circuit with 1 dimmer)

2) Maybe it has something to do with the Ethernet over powerline running through the apartment.

When I removed the housing and changed the bulb it didn't seem to make a difference, so I'm thinking I need to check the power with a multimeter.

Also in the bedroom it seems as if one of the halogen recessed lights is much dimmer than the others causing uneven room light.  I wonder if that is the next to go...

I would love to win this quality multimeter. I have a 15 year old fluke 270 that is working fine but could use another.  ;D

My need for a Fluke 113 Multimeter are great, but my monetary resources are less than stellar.  I try to fix things myself but many electrical things I am unable to troubleshoot because of the lack of a meter!

I've always found that Fluke makes awesome products.  It would be great to have one of their current testers.

My current multi-meter is a cheap, unreliable piece of junk. I have need of a meter that will give the same reading twice in a row!

Thanks for your site...it works for me.
