Fisher & Paykel Dryer No Heat
« on: March 20, 2008, 07:50:14 PM »

Model# DEGX1, this unit would heat intermittently and then stopped heating all together. After a quick inspection, I found the connector to the heater relay was loose and has been damaged due to the electrical arcing. Cleaned the relay terminal and replaced the connector and now it heats properly.

The Fisher & Paykel top load dryer is their own design.  Started out in New Zealand and Australia, and now they are made here.  Not a bad product to work on, and their washer is very nice.
