Does the door lock indicator not light ONLY because the "wax motor" that locks the door failed? (Various discussions imply this is the root cause, that has a side effect of damaging the control board). Or is the control board damage likely to, by itself, prevent the door lock indication? (I replaced the wax motor, and an attempt was made at repairing the board, so I need to know in order to help determine if the board repair failed or if something else is wrong).

all four transistor that are known to fail.

Which four are those? The only components I've seen mentioned are R11 (resistor) and Q6 (TRIAC).
