Kenmore Laundry Center dryer problem
« on: March 17, 2008, 07:24:22 PM »

My neighbor, who is computer illiterate, has this model and complains of clothes getting stuck in the dryer, and being able to move the drum up, or to the side when she has to remove them. Is this the drum glide? Do you have any dissassembly pics, or instructions?

Model 417.9080299

those glides on the front have worn off if she don't do something soon then the dryer will have serious damage. It is an easy fix.http://www.repairclinic.com/SmartSearch/SSPartDetail.aspx?PartID=343&PPStack=1

You'll find the manual for this Frigidaire-made Laundry center here.

I finally talked her into letting me take a look at it for her, two of the glides were missing, the other was worn down, and the felt on that side was just about bare. I replaced them, and she's back in business! :)
