The answer is that Whirlpool put a screeching halt on non-technician access to their website technical section.

I think we need to be careful on simply taking the word of a person online as to if they are a technician or not.

It's easy enough for anyone to say, yes I'm a technician. But it's another thing for them to prove it by helping answer appliance repair question in this forum.

JW - - I have worked in the electric utility business for 38 years. I am in communications and control. I am going to try appliance repair part time as a retirement job. I have been studying for well over a year and I am on the verge of taking some calls very soon. As matter of fact the first one is this afternoon, although for a friend.

If you see a question and you know the answer let us know by posting it. These new fangled machines are so complex even the most seasoned repairman must keep up with this stuff. hey how everyone doing i been in the trade for over 30 yrs my problem is i been working in area with 30yr old appl. retiredment development but i move up the ladder now work on the beach area ft laud and miami beach where all the appl are up to date and this post sure come in handy also i got the 900 manual and wow keep up the good work i am on here every nite
