Leak @ Soil Sensor
« on: September 23, 2010, 08:11:25 AM »

I have a relatively new Frigidaire dishwasher (few months old from: Lowes). Discovered that my floor was buckled yesterday (old parquet...it'll settle back down) and found water underneath the DW. I gave the soil sensor a wiggle and found that the water was coming out there. It doesn't seem to have a real solid fit. Should it snap in?

If I installed this thing, will they give me crap if I call in a problem?

Does it have an O-ring around the sensor?

Indeed, it has an O-ring, but it shouldn't need replacing after just a few months, should it?

Apply a little liquid soap to the O ring and shove it up in there till it locks in place is what I would do. Then run a cycle and see it she leaks.
