Replaced coupler 6 months ago and is still in good shape. Washer barely agitates, won't spin but will drain. If I put my hand on the agitator it will stop moving during any cycle. Clutch possibly?

Could be the clutch or it might be the main drive gear

What's the best way to determine the issue?

You gotta dig into it to see what the problem is. Might be an item of clothing or something binding.
