Secretly deodorize your house
« on: March 05, 2008, 03:44:15 PM »

One of the oldest tricks in the book to add a nice fragrance throughout your house without buying a lot of air freshener is to place an open can of "Love My Carpet" in the return air plenum (behind the grille). It permeates the entire house once the fan or A/C comes on.

I have also used various scents I find at auto supply houses, etc. to work just as well.

You can also go by your friendly HVAC store and buy some PAN PILLS. what these do is deoderize that acoil drain pan and keep the drain clean and clear by disolving the nasty water based stuff that makes your house smell all musty.
