I found the service manual on this model--and it *is* marketed in the US after all...The most likely fault will be an erratic relay #SSR71 on the Main Board.Additionally--you had mentioned:<<I took the fan out and plugged it in the wall and it works fine.>> This Fan Motor operates at LOW Voltage and is likely damaged.The Freezer Fan Motor speed (RPM) is controlled by the Main Board which monitors Freezer and Fresh Food compartment temperatures.Temperature *thermistors* send data (ohm value) to the Main Board.Depending on this data--the Main Board can activate/deactivate the fan motors as well as control the speed of the fan(s).Let us know how things are after 24 hours...
