Where is my heat

Sears

Dryer. When set for any drying cycle there is no heat.
Hi limit is good, thermistor reading 45.2 out of 50 ohms allows +or- 10%.
When I run the test sequence all works as indicated in the mini tech sheet, including heat.
The error test program does not indicate any errors.
This is the led light control not digital display.
I believe a bad electronic control.
What do you believe?

Jumpy even though the thermistor checks good with no faults registered by the control I would replace that sensor before that board.

Yes,I ran the error code program and showed no errors.
I ran the test cycle program and all functions were good including heat.

Would it heat in the test mode if those wires were bad?

consistantly, no i doubt it, but intermitantly its possible
test mode may bypass the thermistor and just fire the relay, i'd check continuity beteen the control plug and thermistor to look for breaks in the wires if the thermistor checks ok

I am leaning towards the board too.
However,I will go back and check power to and through the thermister.
All I did was ohm the thermister. It was borderline good.

power doesn't go to/from the thermistor
the board reads its resistance, you will only be checking contiuity of the wires
a broken wire would explain a therm testing ok, yet a board acting like the therm is bad
