Tonight I ordered one so I could see for myself just how good they are.

I have used one for years it replaces a lot of tools in the box I'll tell you. Easy to switch bits and they don't get lost.

I received my Picquic screwdriver today. My first impressions of the screwdriver is very good.

I have tried a number of different multi type screwdrivers from the hardware stores.

This screwdriver seems nothing like the other multi type screwdrivers I have purchased at local hardware stores over the years.

This screwdriver seems very well constructed. The handle does not have that cheap plastic feel. The shaft has a very strong magnet and the 1/4 -5/16 nut driver shaft also seem to be of high quality.

I purchased this one from a guys ebay store. A flyer come with the screwdriver advertising his website were you can order custom loaded drivers with the bits you want.

I have already placed another order.  O0

Here are some videos I found on youtube.

They do not show the Super 8 Plus (formerly X7+2 Pro) model I ordered with the 1/4 & 5/16 nut driver shaft, but it shows you how the bits store and slide out of the handle.

Mine's a Canadian version with 3 Robertson sizes (square). I wonder why Americans never adopted the Robertson screw it is far superior to the Phillips that seems to be the screw of choice in the states.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread. The Phillips is all about ease of manufacture. The Robertson is superior for servicin.  :)

PS I love my Picquic drivers.

I purchased 2 auto load screwdrivers vat Orchard Hardware for $6.99 each. Change the tips to torq, Robertson, and Phillips ( Harbor Freight has them cheap) and LOVE it. Just don't get it wet. the tips and workings rust up and jam. On the back up unit I lubed it with oil.

The place I ordered my Super 8 from years ago let you select what bits you wanted to come with the screwdriver.
Don't recall what the site was anymore.

Don't know just what 4 in 1 screwdriver you have from wall mart. But I have tried many 4 in 1 type screwdrivers from different hardware stores over the years and they don't come close to how well the Super 8 is built.

I find the weakest part of most 4 in 1 type screwdrivers is the nut driver part. The nut drivers on the Super 8 are very nice, heavy duty.
