What I do to remove gasket.

1) Use a pick or small screwdriver put in the spring at the bottom pry it out of the gasket. Spring and wire clamp will come out.

2) pull rubber gasket off the front of the washer.. fold it inside out into the tub.

3) Use a pick or small screwdriver put in the spring at the bottom pry it out of the gasket. Spring and wire clamp will come out inside of gasket.

4) pull rubber gasket off the outer tub.

To install the new gasket.

1) heat the gasket in a dryer

2) Start at the top. Take the top of the gasket insert it into the lip of the outer tub. work your way around the outer tub until you get it in all the way around..

(if your fingers are too big you may have to remove the front bricks)

3) fold the gasket into the tub inside out.

4) take the wire with spring start at the top slide the wire and spring around gasket and outer tub. spread out the spring.

5)Pull gasket out of tub. insert fill hose or spray hose or light if you have them.

6) start at the top insert the gasket to washer front lip. work your way around the front.

7)take the wire with spring start at the top slide the wire and spring around gasket and outer tub.
