Noisy Frigidiare Dryer - Replace Rear Bearing.
« on: February 08, 2008, 01:24:35 PM »

Here is a video clip that lets you hear what kind of noise a Frigidaire dryer makes running with a bad rear bearing.

Model FSE447GHS0

I believe all Frigidiare dryers use this same style of rear bearing.
Here is the one I put in this dryer. Look up your model number to make sure you get the correct one for your dryer.

I have a White Westinghouse stackable w/d that has the symptoms of the rear bearing needing replacing. I can't find any information on how to get at the bearing, whether you have to remove the drum from the front or if I have to pull the whole unit out and get at it from the rear. Does anyone know which way this is done?

Thanks for any help.

Hi bibico

Could you please start a new topic and include the model number of your stackable?

It will make things simpler and easier to help you.
