Chopper Assembly protector/cover stuck? Kitchenaid Dishwasher KUDS01IJWH0

I need to check the chopper blade assembly in my Kitchenaid Dishwasher KUDS01IJWH0 but can't remove the protector/cover part PS392941. I've removed the torx screws and the top protector shield and can't get the protector covering the chopper assembly to budge. I've looked at the parts diagram and watched an online video - it seems as though it should just lift off once the screws are removed, but it won't move at all. I tried grabbing it with pliers, poking at it with a screwdriver. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.

I'm guessing you could try a hair dryer.

Bingo! The hairdryer did the trick. Thanks so much the help - I should be all set - if 1) I didn't wreck the thermister by messing with it before I knew what it was, and 2) I can remember how all the pieces of the dishwasher go back together . . . .
