Is there a way to run a diagnostic check on my GE washer?

I am wondering if I can run a diagnostic check somehow on my washer?

what is you diagnosticating? Wow a front loader! Let me guess: drain problem?

The diagnostic tests are described in the GE Frontload Washer Manual

(You need to re-check that model number...some discrepancy exists)

PT what was it the bearing? Have you seen that new tool a guy is sellingon the net to replace the bearing in frontloaders?

Bearings in the drain pump, not the main bearing for the drum, and no, I have not seen the tool, but I'd like to!  Got a link?

Is that the tool he wants $500 for? Only a servicer with a lot of bearings to replace would want to invest that kind of money.

Right about that!  Watched the video, it may be fast but .... I haven't changed a bearing this year....
