Maytag washer noise during high speed spin
« on: January 24, 2008, 02:34:01 PM »

during the high speed spin a loud wining nose , removed the front coverand found nothing  out of order, downloaded the service manual
and think it is the spin bearing . just in the last two days i see water in the bottom of the washer, found the tub and seal kit in the parts area
is this the proper repair and should i order any other seals or gaskets  to  complete this repair. if it is the correction needed to eliminate the noise and leak

Hi,

It does sound like it could be bearing problems.

Did you ever get this one repaired?
