You may have a loose lid or a lid switch going out on you. Jump the lid switch and see if thr problem is solved then replace the lid switch also make sure your timer's connection is tight.

I am sure you flip up the panel because you can plainly see the hinges. All we gotta do is figure out where the hold down screws are. Some are on the back others are hidden some are not hidden. I ran your model number and had no luck. I can tell you this. Don't try and remove the hinge screws. Maybe Brian has the answer or mr RepairMan. Lets wait and see.

looks like the back of bottom of the first picture there is a screw. can't tell. That removed might let ya get the front to flip up.

This model has clips in the left and right hand corners of the control panel. Take a flat blade, preferably plastic putty knife and push it between the plastic corner of he control panel and the top of the machine and than you can flip the console over to reveal the gold hold down clips. Is the machine draining the water and not spinning the clothes tight or is the tub staying full of water? Rule of thumb is if the water drains and no spin the motor coupling is bad, if the machine stays with water in the tub, the lid switch is bad. Good Luck.

Let me get this straight: Spring clips hold this one's control panel down?

The spring clips are similar to the old clips used on Whirlpool's old 29" washers. You push them in with a putty knife and the console flips back. The new Whirlpool built Maytag washers use the same clip set up. Also, they are prone to fall off onto the floor when you press them in, so prepare to look for them.

I have done everything that said for me to do.
Now i look at the coupling and they still look new. The connection on the control panel were just dirty and I clean them out with a wire brush. Now when I went to the motor I did see this a rubber piece around it look at the pictures

Ok it's working but it only want to spin with a small amount of clothing in it. why doesn't it want to spin with alot of clothing while it's draining out the water now.

that rubber piece is a vibration damper and that pin is a shipping pin. have you yanked the pump and motor off and took the coupling off to examine it?
