changes settings on own
« on: February 22, 2009, 11:55:06 AM »

our machine changes it settings mid cycle if I put it on normal wash it will change it to quick wash in mid cycle,   won't let me stop the machine to change the setting back.  I am not receiving error codes.  it beeps during a cycle sometimes a dozen time and sometime just a few times.
it sounds like some computer malfunction.

I agree with your prognosis, although the Neptune Topload manual is here in case you want to run the diagnostic cycles to be sure. A control board or the touch panel is the issue, one way or another. Once you run your diagnostics and decide to replace the control, it is pictured below and you may click to order.
