Washer Not Getting Water
« on: September 05, 2022, 08:59:40 AM »

Attached is my washer manual. The washer is not filling up with water. The water goes through the plumbing up to the washer fine but does not enter. An appliance guy said the main control board needs to be replaced. How can I verify that's the issue. The washer is in my rental house so I need to drive 5 minutes to the house in order to do any diagnostics.

I asked him if any error codes were coming up and he said no because the main board is bad it will not give any codes.

He's charging $600 for the board and to replace it. Thanks.

Thank you very much.

In 10 years of washer repair I’ve never seen a main be the issue for No fills. Most folks don’t no crap about Samsungs so everything must be a board issue. Hard to say without seeing the unit but if it’s not turning on then probably the board. Also could be sediment in fill valve screens, bad harness, open solenoids on fill valve assembly, motor issues not completing start program loop. Hope it is the board and you don’t get the runaround!
