Ywhd3090gwo,heat pump dryer
« on: June 04, 2022, 08:54:50 PM »

I went to the house a week ago, complaint was running but no heat.I cleaned all the filters ,there was heat again. The next day, they called again, still no heat.I went back, found
There is no heat inside the dryer drum.Fan and blower are working.Found the compressor and the discharge tube very hot.But the tube was cold at the condenser area .Condenser was room temperature.Thats why there was no heat.ehy was the condenser room temp?I suspect there is intermittent freon plug up.Does it make sense?I am thinking about replacing the dryer strainer .what do you think?

It's not going to be easy to replace the dryer strainer, there is no room under the dryer drum.
