Top load WA48H7400A will not cycle

So u put in the clothes select ur wash cycle, then it shoots water into the drum a bit,stops, shoots more water ,stops.     Does that a couple times then it will not cycle through the wash but will end up draining and doing it again.       And I don’t see any error codes.      Any ideas or can anybody point me in the right direction.        Not sure how to post video but I will try.

How old is the washer? As for the video just upload it to YouTube then come back here and post the YouTube link for it.
