Maytag Washer MHW6000xG0 F6E1 error code info needed
« on: March 02, 2022, 06:44:09 PM »

Title:. Maytag Washer MHW6000xG0 F6E1 error code
Manufacturer:. Maytag
Type of Appliance:. Front load washer
Model Number:. MHW6000xG0
Problem Statement:. F6E1 error code, wont enter cycle
What diagnostics have you already done?:.  None yet, CX has reported symptoms
Maytag Washer MHW6000xG0 throwing an F6E1 error code.  When attempting operation the door lock engages and indicator light comes on but that is all.  When powered off the door lock indicator blinks continuously and it has to be unplugged to get it to stop.  I have not looked at the unit yet, but the manual indicates this is usually caused by a door lock failure/wiring issue, or the Main control and motor control failing to communicate.  I plan to follow the diagnostics recommended in the manual, tests 1 and 3, etc and arrive with the MCU and lock, (main is NLA), hoping for an FCC.  Wondering if others have experience with this issue and can give me any tips, or an idea of what commonly causes it.  Thanks

This model is bad about the MCU causing this problem
