Card operated Washer and Dryer
« on: October 03, 2021, 08:07:54 AM »

I am considering buying a like new Speed Queen Washer and dryer for almost scrap price but it is setup as OEM  to operate on a card instead of coins. It has been in a laundromat operation . A card machine is very expensive and I dont want to consider it.  I intend to use these units  in a home .Is there any way to convert this to a simple on/off switch to start and operate these machines ? The washer is model number SFNNYFSP112TW01 and the dryer is SFGY09WF. Any one have info on this kind of setup ?

The picture of the control panel was taken at an angle so I cant be sure  but the illustration looks like the same type.

Maybe I missed it but I read it as needing a card even if a no cost option is used ?
