I have a GE Profile refrigerator MODEL PFSS6PKXGSS that makes a huge racket because inside the fridge, behind the insulation panels, there are thin metal fins that freeze over.

The ice eventually gets so bad that it blocks off the small fan inside, fan hits ice, and makes a huge racket.

Every few months I have been pulling the panel and manually defrosting the ice.

I am wondering what is causing the coils to freeze over in the first place?

Thanks for reading!  :thanks:
