I have a Kenmore 253.7031 and have problems with the ice maker:
If the weather is not warm consistently (in the 80's outside), the ice maker stops working. The hotter it is, the ice maker will start working again. So if the weather has been in the 80's, the ice maker will usually work pretty well. Once it gets cool, it stops working.
I've had the ice maker replaced twice, still does the same thing.
Is there an area that's freezing over, that I could defrost with a blow dryer or something?
