Kitchenaid KDTE554CSS1 leak identification and repair
« on: January 03, 2021, 04:13:55 PM »

Hello -
we have a 2014 kitchenaid KDTE554CSS1 that has a leak on the left hand side about 10" from the front of the unit.  I was able to isolate the leak location but I'm having a hard time figuring out what exactly is leaking. is it the hoses? the tub? (i hope not). Any ideas?  The leak was present during the rinse cycle. not sure about the other cycles.

You just have to remove the toeboard and lay there and watch the dishwasher while it runs.  To me, it looks like there's residue on the hose coming from the water inlet valve.
