The washer belt kept slipping off the pulley every few weeks.I found that the belt would move down 3/16" when pulley was turning one direction, and move back up to ori
ginal position when turning the other way, as in agitation. If it keeps doing this, the belt won't slip off the pulley. But some how, the belt slipped off the pulley and dropped to the floor. How can I stop the belt from sloping off"? Please help!

The customer called back, saying the belt slipped off again, probably the first or second load.he re-installed it, the belt dropped off again. That means it won't stay. I am thinking I have to replace the pulley. Did you guys have such experience?
