The transmission shaft on the bottom dropped 1/4",so the pulley dropped the same distance so the pulley is rubbing on the belt guard. Is there something I can do to push the pulley back up to stop the pulley rubbing on the guard? Now I removed the guard.

Replace the transmission.

So far I have not heard back from the tenant about what's happening to the washer.It's quite a job to replace the transmission.It would be minimun 2 hour job if I do it.I often do not recommend this job because the total job costs Can$460 if I have to quote.
