Door switch replacement
« on: October 01, 2020, 07:11:36 AM »

Recently I was given an old dryer for repair that utilizes the door switch design  involving a lever into the switch itself. I dislike this design as they are IMO prone to failure much more often than the push button type. Has anyone ever come up with a simple arrangement to change the lever type to the push button type without doing a lot of rework to the front panel ? I have changed a lot more of the lever type and would like to start using the push button type  instead. Any suggestions ?
