Frigidaire cgeb27s7cb1 - bake element not heating
« on: September 13, 2020, 02:49:10 PM »

Hi folks, our built-in oven (Frigidaire cgeb27s7cb1) bake element is not heating.  Broil, convection element & fan works. Thermostat safety/thermal switch was not tripped.  Bake element measures 25 ohms.

I am assuming it is either timer/control board or the relay?

Thoughts?

Here is info on your unit

Since convection works I would check the convection/bake relay first.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, it turned out to be one relay and one capacitor on the timer board that needed to be replaced and it's working great again.
