Coin operated washer and dryer controls
« on: August 01, 2020, 01:05:55 PM »

A friend of mine has offered me at very low cost a Maytag  washer and also a Maytag dryer both of which are coin operated . I would like to convert them to a non coin type operation. I usually just take the coin box out and use a non locking version of a box in place of the original . This allows the coins to be used time after time . I have been told it is possible to rework the controls to a non coin type  operation but I need some guidance  . Can anyone steer me  in the right direction or am I wasting my time to try ?
