Leaking in Samsung refrigerator RF18HFENBSR
« on: July 29, 2020, 11:54:56 AM »

I have repaired a Samsung refrigerator with the leakage kit, larger heat probe, new defrost sensor, tilted the refrigerator, and installed a new evaporator cover all per Samsung factory specifications and it is still leaking in the defrost cycle into and under the crisper drawers.  Any thoughts or suggestions as to how to resolve this issue permanently for the customer?

See the below and watch the video

You may just have to clean the inside of the valve.

Looks like it is a duck bill valve which in my opinion is crap but that is what they use.

Thank you for the advice.  That part is brand new and flowing well.  This issue is frustrating, I'm thinking I have a non repairable factory defect.
