Kenmore Oasis 110.27082603 About to Get Junked

Kenmore Oasis top load washer, bought used by relative from couple who were being deployed.
This thing shakes and jumps around on spin cycle, big load or small.
Things I have tried:
Level and re-level.
Level again.
Check stator screw for tightness
Check tub for up and down float; pull basket clean splines
Replace springs/struts on basket with $80. OEM Whirlpool
Pull Stator, check for cracks. Has a couple of hairline cracks, replaced $225.
Place foam pool noodles between tub and basket

None of these repairs have had even the slightest effect. Suppose I could replace speed control and control board, but I just don't see throwing any more parts at it. Every function and cycle works perfect but it still shakes and bangs even on slow spin with nothing in the basket. I must be missing something.

Ok there are a few things that can make the washer do the death dance you speak of. First thing is a chewed up bore in the bottom of the basket. If the drive shaft got all rusty and nasty, the agitating action and the up and down floating movement can chew the bores off center or oversize or both. When they get really bad, they will eat up the coupler under the wash plate in a week or so.

Second thing is the balance ring has lost some or all of its water. This is usually due to freezing and thawing causing cracked plastic. I can't remember right off hand what the critical rpm is for the Cabrio) oasis washers, but it isn't very fast.

The cure for both of the mentioned problems is a new inner tub basket.

Thanks for the response!
Pulled the basket, sounds like it has a lot of water in it.
Bore looked good. The splines on the drive shaft and in the hub not worn.
The six screws holding the hub flange were all loose and the flange had 1/8" of up and down play.  Tightened the screws. Ran the machine empty; still jumping around.
If you bounce the basket up and down it's tight with little or no rebound.
Move it laterally it's really loose and floppy like nothing is restraining it.
