I know this is a long-shot. I acquired an older GE Monogram side-by-side panel refrigerator without an ID plate. I had an authorized GE repair-person come out to evaluate and confirm that the plate is missing. I'd like to 'save' and keep the refrigerator if possible. Maybe you recognize it, or, can suggest how I might be able to reverse look-up the model through parts on the unit. It has stopped cooling. The refrigerant and amount are the key pieces missing here as the rest could probably be identified through observation. I appreciate any suggestions you make. Stay safe out there.

It takes R-12. As for the amount, I don't remember, but you should be able to slowly add gas until the pressures are right.

Also, these were famous for evaporator leaks, so before you spend a lot of time with it, I'd look for the leak and see if it's repairable.
