Frigidaire stove repair
« on: May 18, 2020, 05:06:47 PM »

A friend  has a fairly new Frigidaire brand electric stove  he needs fixed. All the surface burners work OK. They are the smooth top type. The oven does not work and I need some advice as to where to look or if this is a complicated  design that needs expensive parts to repair it. I dont have the model number yet but will add to the entry as soon as I get it. Any suggestions as to where to look first.

Below is info on this unit

Check the oven sensor. Should be about 1100 ohms at room temperature.
If OK, check the wiring/connections from the control board to/from the oven elements and to L2 at the termonal strip.
IF OK then odds are that the timer/control board is shot.
