Maytag Washer MHW6630HC0
« on: April 26, 2020, 01:28:04 PM »

We have the above washer and have an E1F9 code that suggests the unit isnít draining properly. Already checked the drain hose (no apparent problem).  Took off the back to check drain/filter and the filter is facing the front of machine, all the way at front (not accessible from back). The front appears to require the control panel to come off, door seal to come off, and door to come off in order to pull off the panel that allows access the filter. This seems crazy! Our old front loader just had four screws and a small panel at the bottom to reach the drain and filter. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Nope, whirlpool thought it would sleeker for a full face panel. You have to pull it all off.
