jb968s0l1ss stove issue
« on: April 15, 2020, 10:48:44 AM »

The customer reports that using regular bake the unit doesnt heat to set temp.
Originally it was erratic temps.
They replace the temp sensor, then the main board.
This helped the issue but the unit is now heating to temps below the set temp, roughly 20+ degrees says the cust.
Cust said they did go into the board and adjusted the temp calibration....

I tested the broil, bake and conv elements, all good.
The temp sensor read 1090 ohms. should be 1080 but home was warm.
Wiring from board conn to elements and temp sensor have continuity, no visible shorts or issues.
When I did temp tests, I found the opposite of the cust stated issue.
In regular bake temps at temp sensor was within 15 degrees +/- of set temp and unit beeped and displayed the same temp I set it for.
In conv bake, the display shows 25 degrees below the set temp. temp at sensor is 15 degrees +/- display temp.
So, if I set it to 250 degrees, it will display 225 and heat to 225.

I think the cust has made an adjustment to their stove that caused this but have seen a few posts on similar issues.

Has anyone else seen this?
Any advise on how to proceed?
