Brand: Maytag
Age: 6-10 years

Hi!

2 weeks ago I replaced my washer machine bearings. I tested it with a heavy load and it looked perfect. I ask my wife a couple of time since then and she said it looked okay.

But, today, I heard that same (or very similar) very noisy sounds when spinning at high speed. Inside the washer was many bed sheets so it was a heavy load. When I replaced the bearings I saw that rotor internal spline/gear were pretty used. Same with the agitator.

Here is a video with sound from my cellphone. I slided it under the washer.

Thanks for your help!!

If your tub seal leaks at all it does not take very long for the bearings to rust and start making noise. Sounds like you're going to have to change the entire kit again.
