Kenmore ice maker problem
« on: February 25, 2020, 09:10:23 AM »

Good morning, Working on a Kenmore refrigerator with the ice maker and bucket in the freezer door Model# 106.51139214 and it stopped making ice and just changed the filter and water through the door is fine. I replaced the ice maker but it still does not make ice!! Is it water valve and how would you check that or is it something else? Any HELP would be appreciated!! Thanks!!

Make sure your incoming water line to the ice maker is not blocked with ice do to a seeping water valve. There's always the possibility of a faulty inlet valve that can be tested with an ohmmeter for continuity.
