Wm3570hwa, LG washer, no power issue -
« on: January 27, 2020, 07:01:32 PM »

I would like to share something that I discovered.
I had the no power issue that after diagnosing led me in the direction of the PCB board. I purchased a new PCB board installed it in the washing machine plugged it in and within two seconds a pop and lost power again and was right back where I started. Long story short after much frustrating diagnostics ,I discovered that the door lock was shorted out causing the main board to blow the fuse. Lesson learned, my original board was actually still good the door lock was the culprit the whole time.
I just wanted to share this with anybody who might find this useful, especially if you have the no power issue that the reset buttons method will not fix.
