Whirlpool freezer handle replacement
« on: September 19, 2019, 11:55:12 AM »

The handle on my Whirlpool chest freezer broke. I got a replacement from APP, and thought it just popped into the lid. It doesn't.

How does the inside of the lid come off?

Below is a link with a parts manual.

Looks like you have to pull the inner door panel to get at the speed nuts that hold the handle.

You will probably need new lid panel fasteners as often these break when trying to remove them.
