icemaker [WPW10190961]
« on: September 10, 2019, 11:20:14 AM »

Hello.

My Kitchenaid [KSRV22FVMS03] freezer flooded, and doesn't make ice anymore.

I've read through some of the forums with the similar problems, and tried some of the solutions listed there. I think I might need to replace the ice maker,  but still need to hear from someone with more knowledge on the subject.

I've removed the icemaker and tried to;

a)   jump between T and H, but the “harvest cycle” didn’t start - http://www.the-appliance-clinic.com/modcres.html
b)   jump between L and V, but there was no water flow
c)   jump between M and N did power the icemaker motor, but after completing the cycle it did stop, and nothing happens again, meaning no ice 

Is there something else that I should try?  And if this is bad unit, what should I replace it with? Should I get an expensive OEM unit, or just cheaper substitute from Amazon?

TIA
