Main problem: My refrigerators freezer works well, but fresh food compartment won’t cool past 56 degrees.

Model: gfss6kkyess
Closest manual I could find:

Troubleshooting steps taken this far:

Evaporator, cover, fan all frozen over,  de iced and removed cover. 

Plugged fan and sensor back in,  activated reed switches,  fan did not turn on.

Removed fan plugged into a dc power supply bench tester at work.  Confirmed fan works.

At this point my guess would be the control board, or possibly a thermistor?
