Maytag Top Loading Washer
« on: December 29, 2008, 08:34:02 PM »

I have a Maytag washer that's leaking water on from underneath on large loads only. Have checked all hoses and fittings and they're all secure, in good shape and not clogged.  Machine is also level.  Any suggestions?

Remove the front panel and take a close look at the center shaft seal (where the tranny enters the tub from the bottom) while running a large load- agitate for a while then advance to spin... I bet that is where your leak is...also see that drain standpipe is not overflowing on large load.
